School is back in session and we find ourselves missing the longe, more relaxed days of summer, while simultaneously experiencing gratitude for the return of weekly routines and (hopefully) cooler weather. Fall makes me think of getting outside in nature, gathering with friends and family, cheering on our favorite sports teams, and staying lose to home. It can also be a busy season and many are juggling multiple schedules and task demands that can lead to burnout and decision fatigue. Sleep hygiene, priotizing demands, and building systems to help manage the ever-rising amount of messages we receive each day are some of the many ways we can reduce stress on our bodies and minds. Creating new daily habits can seem monumental at the beginning, but are achievable with persistence, grace, and a goal-oriented mindset. If you find yourself struggling with finding that motivation to start, having a difficult time identifying interests or hobbies, or finding your mind cluttered with anxious thoughts leading to task procrastination, please reach out. The first step toward making change is seeking help, so congratulations on taking the first step and starting your search. There are many excellent providers available, and finding the best fit for you is one of the keys toward successful psychotherapy. I am passionate about health at all levels, and specialize in working with women, service members, and high-level professionals balancing work and life roles and responsibilities in an increasingly challenging world.

My approach is non-judgmental, open, warm, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. I have a passion for health, wellness, and the mind-body connection. I have gained valuable experiences working with all ages and demographics, primarily within the medical setting, meeting patients where they are and identifying their inner strength areas to apply to their therapeutic goals. I believe in the power of the mind, in the importance of connections with others, in the value of goals and perseverance, and the use of humor throughout.
